No one goes into the shadows of Milajed anymore. To many people disappear and never come back. This has happened ever since the earth tremor that happened thirty years ago. Some people think that this can be stopped, as a dark spire appeared at this same time, and some people say they've seen shadow beings take people into it. Maybe someone, or something is in there. People live in fear, now they need hope.

Thomas and Steven are at a half way house, for those children who have had their parents taken by the shadows. Wraith and Sugaku are in the Tavern/Inn a few buildings down having come to get the reward for stopping the shadows. The time is Dusk.
